Product Information

50 Shades of Fabric Shaders for Iray and the ILFS Layered Fabric System is exactly that, a set of 50 original fabric print designs (not scanned or copied) in both standard Iray shader format based around the Iray uber base shader and a mirror set of the exact same designs for the ILFS Layered Fabric System custom shader.

This gives you both the simplicity of just adding a shader to an object or using the immensely powerful and diverse ILFS fabric system to integrate the same design in the fabric shader onto any of its base components, and then mix it up using the various layers and layer settings in the Layered Fabric system Shader (which you need to own to do this of course!) to produce an infinite and fabulous array of effects, distressed fabrics, faded patterns, patterns overlaid with other patterns, different weaves, knits, nets and base colors, literally making 50 designs into thousands of different possibilities.

However you decide to proceed with texturing your cloth, using either set of these wonderful shaders will give you dramatic, colorful, and lush results with minimal effort!

To use the standard Iray shaders simply select the surface on which you want to apply the shader, and apply the standard preset. Then adjust scale and transparency and you are done.

With the Layered Fabric System version, first load the base shader from the Layered Fabric System ( these settings have to have this loaded in order to work), then choose your weave and the scale of the weave in your base layer. Then simply go to the fabric shaders in ths bundle, choose the one you want and it will apply to the first layer of the shader, giving you independent control of its scale and the scale of the weave and bumps of the base layer. You can of course stop there, and have a lovely fabric, or you can go on and add an overlaying pattern, adjust its intensity and scale independent of the other layers and then of course add some grunge and wear and tear in the final step. Making this a hugely powerful way to use these unique printed fabric designs.
