Sculpting the Facial Features in ZBrush

In this fundamentals sculpting series, you’ll learn how to sculpt the essential facial features: Eyes, Nose, Ears, and Mouth. Every section starts off with the theory behind the facial feature, which will serve as a foundation for all your future sculpt. Next up, we show you how to actually sculpt the facial feature.

LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS

Sculpting a full face can be incredibly daunting for beginner artists, as you have to keep so much in mind at the same time. In this series, we simplify everything down to the basics, where you’ll get a deeper understanding of how each facial feature works.

BREAKING IT DOWN

We break each part down into simple portions. It’s a lot easier to sculpt the nose if you can simplify it down into three sections of bone, cartilage, and fat, instead of complicated shapes with a thousand planes. Learn the importance of the caruncle of the eye, the antihelix of the ear, and much more.

This is a personal license as stated on the FlippedNormals licensing page.
