Crackling fire and a warm stove join the ornate overhead gaslights to illuminate the room where the tinkerer's craft is executed, patiently building gadgets and toys and wonders for the steam-powered world.
The Tinkerers Workshop is a highly detailed scene kit featuring a collection of 39 steampunk themed props inside a “rigged” room allowing for maximum poseability and custom configurations. The scene preset assembles all the elements together into a beautiful tableau of Victorian-inspired, steam era style. Among the many props are numerous rigged pieces such as the stove, nutcracker, and cabinet. A variety of small elements (screws, cogs, wheels, etc) are provided for quickly adding the clutter that brings a steampunk scene to life, while a preset is provided for a quick to apply “clutter pile”. The book prop included has 7 material presets, and the variety of shelving (cabinet, bookcase and hanging shelves) have both empty versions and presets allowing them to be loaded with pre-placed, randomized, instances of books.
The various elements containing fire (fireplace, stove and candle) are set up out of the gate to deliver Iray emissions for a warm base to lighting the scene, along with the emmisions from the ceiling lights and any HDRI one chooses to add for lighting that would come through the windows. Whether exploring ideas of a Christmas toy-maker or a gadget building Victorian adventurer, whether for a Sherlock or a Santa, the Tinkerers Workshop is a great settings for heroes and holidays alike!
