Additional Details

  • Thank you for purchasing Simply Standing Poses for Genesis 8. Here are a couple of tips for getting the most out of these poses.
  • The best way to begin is to apply one of the 24 full body poses or their mirrors. These create interesting poses for the lower half of the body while posing the upper half in a neutral position with the hands resting on the legs. These are designed to place the hands very precisely for Genesis 8 Male and Genesis 8 Female but may require small adjustments on other Genesis 8 based figures due to variations in figure proportions.
  • If you are happy with the pose the way it is, you’re done. Otherwise, apply one of the 18 upper body poses or their mirrors. These poses are designed to work independently of the lower body, and will not change your decision to use a sitting up or sitting back posture.
  • Once you’ve set the upper body pose, you can use the lower body poses freely to try different variations. These poses will also allow you to change your mind about the sitting up or sitting back posture without otherwise disturbing the upper body pose.
  • Finally, these poses were designed for a standard 18 inch (46 cm) height chair. Some Genesis 8 figures have shorter or longer legs than the base Male and Female figures, as well as automatic position adjustments to their hips. These can result in the hips or feet floating above or pushing through the surfaces. The simplest ways to fix these issues are by repositioning the figure in the scene and making small changes to the scale of the figure or the chair.
  • Thanks again, and happy posing.
