This long stretch of the old roadway is barely maintained by the county. This is not the place you want to break down or run out of gas. Otherwise, you may find yourself hitchhiking or walking for quite some distance. They don't even bother with signage in these parts. This stretch of road is where you bury stuff, hide from the authorities, plan your getaway or avoid roadblocks. This is the road less traveled. This is the inhospitable part of the continent. There is never enough rain for more than some shrubs and clumps of grass to grow. Find yourself driving through here to get over there. Few people live out here. Yet on occasion, a trucker or two has been known to use the road as a shortcut. 1stB Long Stretch of Deserted Road is a 3D exterior environment on a 2 lane asphalt road cutting through the barren landscape of sand and rock. Each side of the lanes has a small gravel shoulder with grass and rock encroaching ever closer. The set includes full scenes for 3Delight and Iray. The 3Delight version includes a skydome and Uber Environment 2 lighting setup seen in the promos. The Iray version is set to use whichever HDRI light dome you have in your runtime. There are also 10 camera angles included getting you moving around the scene quickly and rendering. Thousands of vegetation instances are hidden in preview mode, allowing easy movement around the scene. They show up in view during rendering. Get 1stB Long Stretch of Deserted Road for your next scene! Notes: the secondary hills seen against the horizon are separate props from the central roadway area. They are included for added visual appeal but there are gaps between the two areas. Vehicles seen in the promos are shown for sizing purposes and are available separately in the Daz3D store and are not included.
