Product Information

  • Required Products: None

This set is the second in a series of clothing collections with dForce support. Use the full outfit or only parts of it - this set is made for kitbashing!

This knitted dress with warm tights, cute boots, and a ruffled cape will be perfect for your winter scenes. It will also look great in close-ups which makes it ideal for your portrait renders.

Tights and boots are fully rigged and don't need dForce. I recommend running a dForce simulation on the dress for a natural look, but it is fully rigged and features a poseable skirt, so it might also be used without dForce. The cape, however, will need a dForce simulation to look good.

Cape and dress can be used at base resolution or as HD items. The cape also features helper morphs The included PDF User Guide explains how to select single items for simulation. For your convenience the set also includes presets to freeze and un-freeze the simulation.

All items come with two textures, one features a wintery color scheme and the second one has a delicate romantic theme. Utility presets allow you to switch off the collar on the dress and the ruffles on the cape for more versatility.

Additional Details

  • Please read PDF thoroughly
  • There are many deformers that are hidden in the clothes, please DO NOT delete
  • If you are trying many poses, even if it is to experiment, and you see the clothes are not simulating as should, you may have to delete the clothes and load a fresh set to remove any settings they may held on to
  • Product works relatively well as conforming and dForce except for shawl. That is dForce only
  • Using more than 30 frames (at least 45) will help many simulations
  • Some shapes may work with auto follow
  • Product will not load or work correctly without the figure in the scene
  • Materials have been optimized for Iray and may not look the same in 3Delight
  • The foot pose will need to be applied after each pose change
  • Some poses may cause collision so tweaking the pose or the figure's limbs may be necessary
  • Smoothing is turned off by default
  • Unexpected numeric member: version will appear in Log file. This means that is was created in a different version and in no way does it affect the product
  • When changing poses, do not forget to use the Clear Animation/Clear Figure Pose in the Parameter tab under Genesis 8 Female before adding another pose
  • Use of too many adjustment dials at once may cause distortion
  • Clear simulation from a scene before using a new pose and simulation
