Product Information

  • Required Products: None

Spring Thaw Snowman is a figure with fabric choices for use after Christmas.

This product contains one simple snowman figure, two scarf figures and a cloak figure. There are 52 parented props that consist of clothing, arms, feet, face and belly props. Most props have morphs for posing and the facial buttons adjust to help create expressions.

I've created 9 wearable presets with matching hierarchical material presets.

The included material files are Iray only.

Additional Details

  • The snowman's head is called 'chest'. To move his head/chest select it in the scene and use the bend, twist and side-side controls.
  • When loading in props or clothing figures make sure that the snowman is selected in the scene so that the props and clothing figures fit to and parent to the snowman.
  • In some case you may need to (or want to) use the translate controls in Parameters to get the pose you want. An example is if you want to lower the stick arms on the body or you need to hide the end of the stick arms when over rotating them.
  • Important: The snowman comes with a 'head smaller' morph. This a convenience morph that I chose to leave on the snowman even though it is difficult to use. It looks best when used in small increments.
  • When using this morph all face props and hats will need to be translated or scaled down manually. If you use the cloak with the 'head smaller' morph dial the cloak's 'looser-neck' morph to at least .25%. Dial it higher when posing the snowman.
