Facial expressions are footprints of a real person. After months of research, we proudly present to you the very first, motion-captured (mocap) facial expressions for Daz Studio. At affordable price, move your animation to the professional level!

Built on live-action footage, this package contains 30 facial animated poses optimized for Genesis 8 Characters and Genesis 3 Characters. Ranging from subtle smiles to extreme emotions, each animation is an Animated Pose (aniBlock and .PZ2) that works perfectly in Daz Studio. Also included are Filmbox (.FBX) files that can be used in other animation software (e.g., MotionBuilder).

More than 3,800 frames were recorded in this package. There are two ways to load a facial animation in Daz Studio: (1) select an aniBlock from the menu “Real Facial Animation” and drag it to the movement track; (2) first select a character, then click on “File” and “Import” to load an animated pose (.PZ2). To achieve the best effect, turn off rotation limits when applying animated poses (.PZ2). For still-image artists, each frame can also be saved as a single expression. With a few clicks, your character will come alive!
