Additional Details

  • General Morph Types
    • Almost every piece in this set loads with a multitude of morphs and control dials (skirts, wings and horncap) designed to help you with fitting and posing the outfit pieces. The morph categories are as follows:
      • - Adjustments: Alter shape and fit of a piece.
      • - Movement: wind, twirl, lift and general movement morphs.
      • - Styles: contains shaping and fit morphs which are designed to allow you to use mulitple outfit pieces together.
      • - Helpers: Preloaded joint activated morphs which simulate draping of sleeves and dress. These morphs can be completely dialed back if the shape of the garment does not suit your needs. Please note that these helpers are invisible and have to be unhidden before use. To do so, go to the “Hidden” morph category of the morphs (found under Actors → Morphs) and click on the small icon in the top left or right corner of your parameters tab (the one that looks like several stylized lines of text). Select “Show Hidden Properties” and the hidden morphs will become visible as greyed out sliders.
      • - Controls: controls movement of several parts of a hipskirt, innerskirt and outerskirt.
  • Helper Morphs and Advice on Poke throughs
    • The skirts are preloaded with helper morphs which deform the lower skirt parts or the whole of the skirts when posing your Genesis figure. Thigh and shin movements and general posing will influence how strong these helper morphs will be dialed up.
    • If you experience any poke through you can always dial these helper morphs down. They are located in their own dial section under Actor/Morphs/Helpers. See the section above under “Genera Morph types” for details.
    • They are also valuable to avoid poke throughs with the use of the numerous style and adjustment morphs provided all the outfit pieces. We suggest that you acquaint yourself with the morph options of both pieces before using them on a posed figure.
  • Odd Crinkling of Horns and Wings after Posing
    • If you want to get rid of unsightly distortions and crinkles of both wings and horns, go to the hidden morphs (category “Hidden”) in the horncap and set ALL of them to 0. You'll have to make all the parameters visible to display these hidden properties. Click on the little icon in the top left/right corner of the parameters tab (the one that looks like several stylized lines of text) and check the box “Show Hidden Properties”.
  • You can do the same for the wings if they get too much distortion.

Another way to avoid crinkling is to simply unfit the wings or horncap from the unposed and unmorphed Genesis figure, and then reparent them to her head (horncap) or chest (wings). The adjustment morphs will then be very usefull to make final adjustments to pose and shapes.
