LED Signs brings you a collection of interior and exterior lighted LED Signs ranging from huge full-color, double-sided sign on a sturdy metal pole to a scrolling table top model with a single line of text.

The exterior sign style features a 128 x 72 (16:9) display and includes shape presets for double-sided or single-sided signs with the sign alone, mounted on a base, or mounted on a pole for all your exterior signage needs.

The interior style features a 128 x 32 (4:1) display in a stylish frame that includes shape presets so it can be wall-mounted alone, used on a table top with its built-in feet, or hung from the ceiling or in a window using 5 different lengths of chain.

Both the interior and exterior styles include seven (7) stylish marketing messages to get you started, but they also can use any image (cropped and scaled to 128 x 128 pixels) to customize your message to exactly what you need.

The scrolling sign comes in only one basic style, but it can be scaled to create a variety of different-sized displays. The scrolling display is designed for one line of text with its 128 x 8 (16:1) display and can use both red and multi-color textures, just like its larger siblings. It comes with sixteen (16) included messages and includes a full uppercase and lowercase alphanumeric character set with a variety of symbols, as well. You can create any message you need to brighten up your store front or office.

Below is a list of the installation package types provided by this product. The name of each package contains a Package Qualifier, which is used as a key to indicate something about the contents of that package.

Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.

• All of the LED textures are designed to work with 128 pixel x 128 pixel textures. Each pixel represents a single LED light on the sign. Each sign has a different height and will not cover the full texture. The outdoor sign is 72 pixels high, the interior sign is 32 pixels tall, and the scrolling sign is only 8 pixels high. All the signs are 128 pixels wide.

• Be aware that the images on the sign are displayed through the emission channel, and so they will be unseen until the sign is rendered. You may use the Iray preview to see the sign materials in real-time.

• The interior and outdoor signs each have multiple shaping presets. Although there are presets included for inserting each variation of sign into your scene using .DUF files represented by icons, it is also possible to change the style of the sign using the drop down menu found in the Morphs section of the Parameters tab. This may seem unfamiliar, but you may change the shape by simply clicking on the drop down control and choosing your desired shape from the list that appears.

• The alphabet for the scrolling sign is included on the bottom of the texture map used for the sign materials. The characters are spaced on a 6 x 8 grid for your convenience.

• Any of the signs may display any color at any of their LED locations. When creating cartoon art for the signs, it may be easiest to draw pixel by pixel on an enlarged copy of the 128 x128 map. When working with images, you may find it easiest to work at a larger size like 512 x 512 pixels and then size your final art down to fit the 128 x 128 map. You may use a larger image map as a texture for the LEDs, but doing so will place more than one color on each “light bulb” and will often look odd.
