Product Information

Precious wants to go outside and play in the snow. A light sprinkling of snow is in the air and the temperature has just the right amount of nip to make the snow squeak when she walks on it. It is a perfect day to slide down the hill or jump into snow banks. Now Precious has the warmest outfit to enjoy a winter day like this.

Precious Winter Outfit is a full coverage outfit for Precious Deer. The pack includes a body suit, coat saddle, a base cap for the head, a cap for the tail, a deer cap for the ears, a scarf and socks. There is a large selection of Iray material presets and hierarchical material presets to choose from. Precious can have a new outfit on in every render this season with the mix and match materials.

Your choices include grey knits to apply to the clothing pieces and one-click diffuse color choices, fuzzy animal shader presets, fuzzy uni-color shader presets, mix and match material preset knit colors with All Load options, material preset velvet colors with All Load options and tiling options for use with the shader presets. All material options are for Iray.

Additional Details

  • The textures and renders were made using default Daz Studio lighting. Different lighting models may give different results.
  • Important usage note: Since the deer ears and deer tail are grafted parts of the Precious deer, their clothing must be parented to them. This includes the Cap Deer and the Tail Cap. To use the Cap Deer for the ears select the deer ears in the scene tab and apply. To use the Tail Cap for the tail select the deer tail in the scene tab and apply. All other clothing pieces are parented to Precious base figure.
  • Also included are options to hide the deer tail and the deer ears for use with the deer cap and tail cap.
  • Extreme posing and posing past limits will cause poke through of the clothing pieces. Using the clothing piece's parameter bend, twist, and side rotations should fix most issues. For the deer ear cap and tail cap you can also use the hide ear and tail options, as well as the included adjustment morphs.
  • The basket figure includes a 'On Floor' morph that can be used independently of Precious deer. This morph will place the basket on the floor of your scene. The basket figure should be unparented from Precious to use this morph.
  • This set includes Iray hierarchical material(s) presets, material(s) presets and shader presets.
  • To use the hierarchical material(s) presets load the Precious deer figure into the scene and select it in the scene tab. Load in the Wearable Winter Outfit or any clothing pieces of your choice. The clothing is now parented to Precious. Highlight Precious and choose one of the All Load Outfit textures that you want to use and apply. All of the All Load Outfit textures are hierarchical materials. Please note that the tail cap and deer ear cap are not affected by hierarchical materials. You will need to use material presets or shader presets with them.
  • To use the material(s) preset textures you need to expand Precious in the scene tab and select the clothing part that you want to affect. The deer cap for the ears will be parented to the deer ears and the tail cap will be parented to the deer tail and can be found on their respective body parts. All other clothing pieces will be parented directly to Precious base figure.
  • To use the shader preset textures you need to expand Precious in the scene tab and select the clothing part that you want to affect. In the Surface Tab expand the item to show all the material zones. Select all the material zones or just the ones that you want to affect and apply the shader preset.
  • These textures and renders were made using default Daz Studio lighting. Different lighting models may give different results..
