Product Information

  • Required Products: None

Three pairs of conforming earrings, all with two extra bones on each side for easy gravity adjustment. Each set loads as a pair but the translation and rotation dials in the ear-hook bones are unlocked so you can use them on other figures if you wish.

One conforming hat with many movement and adjustment morphs to fine tune its size and position, and several style morphs to significantly change the look. There is also a prop version of the hat for use as a scene filler or to put on other figures, it has the same style and adjustments of the conforming hat but loads at zero position.

The Poser and DAZ Studio materials are all custom made.

Additional Details

  • The earrings use bones for movement, and are under the head bone in the earrings figures. Both the hooks and the dangles may be rotated however you need to follow gravity, also the hooks can be translated if you wish to put them on a different figure other than Genesis 2 Female, in that case parent them to the head rather than conforming (Fit-to). When using on Genesis 2 Female they will auto follow any morph you use on her in Poser and DAZ Studio without distorting or warping. If you need to make tiny adjustments to the location of the hooks just grab a hook bone and use the translation dials to move it into place. You likely won't ever need to use them on Genesis 2 Female if you have her head upright, if you have it tilted and need to use rotation on the hooks to follow gravity you will probably need a bit of tweaking on the translation. For minor gravity rotations it's better to adjust the dangles instead of the hook, then they will need to no tweaking.
  • In most lights the crystals will look best with raytrace itterations set to 3, if they are rendering too bright lower the number to 1 or 2, if they are too dark raise the number to four or five. Don't go any lower than 1 or they will lose a lot of their sparkle. Going any higher than 5 shouldn't be necessary and will significantly increase your render time.
  • Poser specific:
  • When using the gem earrings in Poser you will get the best results if you select the Dangle bones and turn off smoothing in the properties tab. They will still look fine if you don't but the gem beads won't be as sparkly. Also remember to morph your character before you load the earrings or necklace so they will pick up the morphs.
  • The materials were developed using normal lighting with AO, if you are using IDL you may need to darken the grey colors in the Reflection Color and Refraction Color channels if the gems are too bright, that will darken the gems without having to lower the raytrace bounces (go slow, a little change there goes a long way.)
