  • USERS HELPFUL TIPS

——————

  • All Scifi City Kit package is scaled to work with Poser & Daz studio human figures.
  • After installation, the Scifi City Kit has been located under the ScifiCityKit folder in the Poser PROPS content library. The SciFi City Kit is subdivided in 4 prop folders: Accessories (6 props); Building1 (7 props); Building2 (7 props) and Streets (6 props).
  • There are 10 camera files in the camera libraries content under SciFiCityKit file.
  • 46 MAT pose are located under Pose libraries content under the SciFiCityKit file.
  • Parameters dials have been assigned to parts for proper translation and rotation. Unused dials have been hidden.
  • 2 ERC Master dials in the 2 passages parameters control their side passages lateral movement.
  • Props are low polygon counts. Therefore, a large city can be built in Poser and Daz studio with low system resources demand.
  • Although all parts (props) have their own texture assigned most parts also have an additional slightly different texture. They can be loaded via the ScifiCityKit POSE library content (MAT pose).
  • HOW TO USE IT

————–

  • SciFi City Kit uses base blocks to build cities. The base blocks are any of the street roads and any of the SCK1 or SCK2 (building) grounds. They can be found in the Streets, Building1 and Building2 folders in the SciFicityKit default Props folder. Each of the streets and SCK1/SCK2 grounds are perfectly square and so can be rotated in place to have them line up.
  • I found 2 ways to use this product:
  • 1-From scratch:
  • Start building a city arranging the streets or arranging the SCK1 or SCK2 grounds. When loading a ground also pick and load the floors, entry and street lamps to make the building, then set the ground as the parent and move the ground around. When a new position is found, connect the building with neighbor buildings loading the 2 size passages and the walls (SCKwall1 or 2), move as required, interchange/rotate floors, and make invisible or delete the unnecessary street lamps.
  • User may also use the buildings already assembled and then rotate and/or interchange the floors with other buildings. Buildings assembled by default have hierarchy. Caution must be observed when moving/rotating the parent floors when floors have been interchanged with other buildings.
  • 2-Using the default buildings block:
  • The easiest way. Load the scifi city kit; camera; All parts. Load the “Streets Assembled” prop. Load the Building1 “SCK1 Assembled” and building2 “SCK2 Assembled” props. Load both walls and passages props. Now we have all the parts together and in the default position. Load, move around and rotate more buildings and streets as required. Interchange and rotate floors. Floors 2 and 3 can be vertically moved to increase building stores.
  • All props axis has been adjusted to its center. Entry and street lamps turn around the center of the SCK1/SCK2 grounds.
  • Users may prefer to purchase the “SciFi City Kit Deltacity” to keep away from the task of assemble a city. DeltaCity is large and organized by sectors. It is already assembled and ready to use.
