Installation Packages

Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.

Additional Details

  • In Zbrush
    • Import the alphas in the alphamenu/icon, you can use them for example with the dragrect, DragDot or spray strokes.
    • To make them show up in lightbox instal them here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush 2021\ZAlphas\
  • In Substance Painter
    • On the Shelf load the pngs with the import resources icon then Add Resources.
    • In the import resources popup select all 120 pngs (Shift) and press a define button and change it to alpha, then every png gets tagged as an alpha.
    • Choose if you want to import the resources to the shelf or to the current session.
    • Press the Import button.
    • To isolate the alphas type BISBrush in the Search input.
  • In Blacksmith3D you can load the alphas in the BrushShape box.
  • In Photoshop
    • go to the Brushes Tab to the menu icon with stripes and from the dropdown select Import Brushes, find the .abr file.
  • In Cinema4D Bodypaint
    • select the Brush Tool and select the Bitmap option in the Properties, load a png alpha.
    • Set The Rotation to 360 degrees, select the circle before rotation and in the effector Settings choose Randomness.
