Though developed originally as a tool, the Axe became one of the most prominent weapons of war all over the world. Their heavy heads allowed them to cleave through armor even during the height of full plate. They have even become almost emblematic of fantasy Dwarves, due to their use as both a weapon and a tool. Whether one or two handed, single or double bitted, the Axe is certainly a weapon of power!
